
Yenny Sánchez
Yenny Sánchez is a Colombian actress and director with an academic background in Dramatic Arts, graduating from Central University - Teatro Libre in Bogotá in 2011.
She also studied Theatrical Anthropology and Photography at CELCIT in Buenos Aires Argentina. Additionally,Yenny studied Speech at HB Studio and Singing for actors at the Acting Studio in 2022, further expanding her artistic range. She is the founder and artistic director of Fundación Baca Teatro,@bacateatro based in Chía, Colombia, where she has made significant contributions to the local arts scene for over a decade. She is currently the director of the new Spanish-language acting program and the Performance in Motion program at Evolute Academia in New York. Recently, she starred in the short film "Soñar no cuesta nada", directed by Tahiel Medina.
In addition to her work as an actress and director, Yenny is focused on writing a pedagogical text based on her scenic teaching methods. She is also working on directing the play Liana, written and produced by Maksim Tsvetovat.

TEACHERS

Mary di Mauro
Mary is a performing artist and educator with over 16 years of experience teaching languages and performing arts to children (PreK-12). She has been studying music and theatre from a very young age and has a degree in Musical Theatre from St. Lawrence College, ON Canada. Mary is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and has taught Music, Dance, Theatre and Languages to kids of all ages in Brazil, Canada, China and the US. Since moving to New York in 2019, she has taught at several public, charter and private schools through non-profits and arts-in education programs before starting her own business as a school vendor. Aside from teaching and managing Mary's Musical Squad she also works as a Children’s Theatre director at Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance, in Roosevelt Island.

Beatriz
Beatriz is a musicologist, pianist, and dedicated music educator with over ten years of experience teaching and inspiring students of all ages. Originally from Spain, she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Musicology from the University of Granada, a Master's Degree in Musicology Research from the Complutense University of Madrid, and a Master's Degree in Music Education from the International University of Valencia. She also earned her Professional Piano Degree from the Conservatory of Granada.Beatriz was the co-founder and assistant director of a children's choir at the Abbey of Sacromonte in Granada, where she combined her passion for choral music with her dedication to musical education and community engagement.Throughout her career, she has taught piano, music theory, music history, choir, and music and movement, guiding both children and adults in their musical development. Her teaching philosophy blends strong academic foundations with a creative, human-centered approach that encourages students to explore, enjoy, and grow through music.Fluent in Spanish and English, Beatriz is committed to helping her students not only acquire technical and theoretical skills, but also discover the joy and expressiveness of making music.
Juan Carlos
Juan Carlos Narvaez is a flutist, teacher and performer located in the NYC and NJ area. He earned his undergraduate degree in Classical Music Performance from West Virginia University in 2022, followed by two Master's degrees in Performance in European Conservatories. Juan Carlos has experience privately teaching students from 5-19 years old, has a children's concert series titled The MagicFlute Storytime and has been involved in local Departments of Recreation to help make classical music accessible to children of all backgrounds.
